Along with that, they are not genetically modified, free of preservatives, zero byproducts, & no 4D animal products. I did take a point off due to it being dehydrated. It is always best to keep whole foods as intact as possible. In this case that would require me to make my own veggie mix or find a supplier that provides an intact mix, greatly reducing the convenience so I am willing to sacrifice.

This survey was distributed, recorded and analyzed by The Honest Kitchen. Customers used The Honest Kitchen as their pet’s sole diet, or as a component of a varietal approach to feeding. Over 50% of the respondents had used The Honest Kitchen for more than one year.

When we first tried The Honest Kitchen, I was not impressed, and neither were the dogs. I didnt like the price and the dogs didnt like the sticky texture .
I was excited to try Sojos and bought two huge bags at an annual BOGO sale last year. I learned a lot about dehydrated raw and was able to do a better job preparing it for our dogs. They loved it. But the price was still out of our budget, and I didnt like that it took so long to rehydrate.

I’m not a fan of The Honest Kitchen line of whole grain food. I don’t believe dogs need grains in their diet, and I also found the recipes to be too rich for my dogs a meal was too heavy on the digestive system, even for Sydney and Zoey, two dogs with an iron stomach.
The grain-free recipes, however, are astounding and were it not for the price, I would regularly buy the fish recipes for my dogs.
