Purina Pro Plan Dog Food Recalls: What You Need To Know
Purina Pro Plan is not a recall-free brand. And this is completely expected considering the wide range of products and the fact that the brand has been around for so many years.
Purina has had several recalls over the years, but when it comes to Purina Pro Plan dog food specifically, there is only one recall. Namely, on March 10th, 2016, the brand recalled Pro Plan Savory Meals due to inadequate levels of vitamins and minerals.
We should note that in comparison with usual recalls due to dangerous chemicals and foreign contamination, the reason for the Purina Pro Plan Recall was less concerning.
On July 14th, 2021, another recall covered the Purina Pro Plan Cat Food or, more specifically, the Complete Essentials Tuna Entrée In Sauce.

You have the larger kibble mixed with the shreds.The kibble is hard and the shreds are soft. I have three German Shepherds and they love it ! However if they eat it too fast the shreds kinda make them choke a bit. Other than that This blend comes in a 47lb bag ! GREAT !! And at a sweet price of course Try it for your medium to large dog. they will like it.. You can even put warm water on it. they love that !

French Bulldog Winston Wins Best In Show At 2022 National Dog Show
What a grand win for Winston, a 3-year-old fawn French Bulldog who became the first of his breed to be awarded Best in Show at the 21st annual National Dog Show Presented by Purina.
The No. 1 all-breed dog in the country, MBIS/MBISS GCHP Fox Canyons I Won The War At Goldshield CGCA CGCU TKN, was handled by breeder-owner Perry Payson of Bixby, Oklahoma. Winston is the 12th consecutive Best in Show winner at the National Dog Show to be fueled by Purina Pro Plan. The record-breaking No. 1 French Bulldog outperformed over 1,700 dogs representing nearly 200 breeds.
Payson has been exhibiting and breeding French Bulldogs for 38 years, the second most popular breed in the U.S., according to the American Kennel Club. Winstons career highlights include 78 Bests in Show and Reserve Best in Show at Westminster 2022.
To be in the arena with such an incredible lineup was an honor, then to win in that depth of quality, I was ecstatic, Payson stated. Winston gave me everything I asked of him, and the joy he gave the crowd was immeasurable.
Winstons success speaks for four generations of co-breeding purposefully bred French Bulldogs in partnership with Sandy Fox. Sandys grandson, Morgan Fox, is a defensive end for the LA Chargers and co-owner of Winston, along with Alexandra Vorbeck, Alex Geremia, and Felicia Cashin.

They also have a Kirkland Signature Natures Domain, which has five dry and two wet foods available. These foods have a greater variety of flavors and are all grain-free. Kirkland Dog Foods are meat first and have high-quality ingredients. They dont include animal by-products, but they do have some controversial ingredients, especially the Natures Domain line.
