Lifes Abundance offers All Life Stage product lines in both grain-free and non-grain-free options. The Grain-Free formula is a bit more expensive but has a better ingredient list and better nutrient content.
They also have a puppy line of dog food and an adult weight loss dog food to cover all dogs life stages. After looking at the ingredients and nutrition info for all of these, its clear that the Grain-Free formula we looked at above is the best option they offer, these other formulas are a cut below and should be avoided.

Mail Order Doesnt Work For Our Family
Although Lifes Abundance allows customers to set up an auto-shipment to receive food on a regular basis, I could never get it right. In fact, this is how we ended up trying a different brand. We would run out of Lifes Abundance and I had heard so many great things about another kibble brand that I decided to give it a try. The dogs loved their new food, they offer formulas other than chicken, and I could pick it up at the local pet store on the way home.
I know that seems silly, but its true. One of the amazing things about raw feeding is that everything I need is in the fridge or in one of my dogs freezers. I never have to worry about mail order again.

From a nutrition perspective, Im comfortable recommending the Grain Free formula. However, the cost is higher than I like to see. There are much better dog food products from real dog food companies that make their own food at a lower price.

Food We Feed And Recommend
Every dog at Moss Creek eats Lifes Abundance. Its an all life stage food. The puppies go home eating Lifes Abundance and we highly recommend you continue feeding it. The medium and standard size puppies are eating the dry Large Breed Puppy food. The small puppies are eating the Small Breed Puppy Food. Switching a puppy that has just come home is a guaranteed upset. If you are going to switch, we recommend waiting for a few weeks, giving your puppy a chance to settle in.
How Much To Feed
Your puppy kit will include a small bag that will last a few days. Do not overfeed regardless of the pets acceptance and eagerness. Overfeeding is the most common cause of digestive upset in pets. Make sure you purchase the food before your puppy comes home. If youre in Florida, it often times only takes 1-2 days for the food to be delivered fresh. In other states its usually within 2-3 days. If youre going to switch to another brand of food. Please, do this gradually. Most Vets recommend you start out 3 parts old and 1 part new food. Gradually increase the new food over a 2 week period. Puppies have sensitive stomachs, the less stress you put on their systems, especially when theyre changing homes, leaving littermates, Mom, etc. the better.
There are 146 cups of food in a 40lb. bag. Puppies eat 1/2 a cup, 3 times a day. A 40 pound bag will last 12 plus weeks. A 50lb dog will eat 2 cups a day. Should You Buy Lifes Abundance Dog Food
This is an interesting case to review Lifes Abundance is not like most other dog food companies that actually focus on dog food. Lifes Abundance is an MLM company that found they could have someone else make dog food, add their own packaging, and then get others to sell it for them.
From strictly a nutrition perspective, I would feed my dog the Grain Free formula. However, the price for what you get is a bit out of whack. You can get much better dog food from a real dog food company that makes their own food for less money. Id suggest you check out our best dog food page to see what we recommend.
