4Health dog food is one of the highest ranked dog foods on the market. Their packaging states that they never use any filler ingredients, and most, or all, of their offerings are grain-free. On top of avoiding wheat, their recipes are also free of soy and corn products, since these are deemed as either empty calories or unhealthy ingredients for dogs.

4Health food has an average rating among real users of 4.5 out of 5 stars across their various products. That puts them pretty far ahead of the average dog food options in a similar price range.

Quality

Coming from a well-known brand, Purina One Smartblend dog food is significantly improved over Purinas previous standard dog food options.

This product line has bumped up the quality of ingredients, but still uses ingredients like corn meal, soybean meal, whole corn, and chicken by-product meal.

Purina One Smartblend is better than a lot of brands, but despite being priced and rated as a premium brand, it still only hits about average in quality. We give it a rating of 3.6 out of 5 stars, though many consumers rate it at higher than 4 stars. We just dont think the ingredients meet up to that ranking.

My Puppy Won’t Eat This

I was very impressed with the concept and the reviews of this puppy food but my 6month, 3.6 lb. Shihpoo will not eat it. This is the third puppy food I’ve tried, maybe she just doesn’t like kibble? I contacted her breeder to see what she had fed her and not sure I want to keep changing the foods. AnyI was very impressed with the concept and the reviews of this puppy food but my 6month, 3.6 lb. Discussion Of The Primary Ingredients

Whole Earth Farms Adult Dry Dog Food

While Whole Earth Farms claims that they only use all-natural ingredients, this statement is a bit of a slippery slope. They do have meat and veggies listed as their first ingredients, but there are others that you might not consider natural. When you take a closer look, they also have processed ingredients such as meat meal. Although they are common in kibble, some owners might not consider it all-natural because of the processing. Their products also contained preservatives called tocopherol. Even though that sounds scary, these preservatives are found naturally in egg yolks and leafy vegetables. The scariest ingredient found in their canned cat food recipes is xanthan gum. Although it is safe for dogs, it is only assumed to be safe for cats to eat. Too high of a dose could cause stomach issues or diarrhea. Aside from this, they use clean ingredients that are grain-free and safe for cats.

Whole Earth Farms Dog Food Recall History

There has never been a Whole Earth Farms dog food recall, but its parent corporation, Nestle-Purina, have a history of both recalls and lawsuits. Nestles Beneful has a particularly troubled reputation, although the February 2015 class action lawsuit against Beneful and Purina was thrown out for lack of evidence. The companies were accused of their pet food causing illness and death in a number of dogs.

Propylene glycol, mycotoxins and fungal mold, as well as heavy metals like arsenic and lead were found in 28 samples, but at levels less than those set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Dr. John Tegzes, an animal toxicologist and expert witness called in the case, argued the FDA limits are “poorly designed.” Theyre based on short-term exposure, not long-term effects from daily consumption.

Review Of Elephant Grind Coffee

Presentation, taste, price, service, everything is good! Only one issue, you leave the place smiling like a deep fryer… 🙁

They have a nice breakfast/brunch menu. Enjoyed the Peameal eggs benedict. Friends enjoyed the chicken & waffles and the classic.Good service and staff are friendly. Our only negative is, that the restaurant is small. They need use the two parking spots directly in front of their restaurant and invest in putting in a nice summer patio. Most restaurants have done this. Many customers enjoy eating on a patio, especially this year with most of the covid restrictions no longer in place.

I went here for the 1st time and was blown away with their coffee. They also serve food but I didn’t have time to order any. I recommend their Nutella Latte.
