According to a news release from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, the Fairfield, California-based company is recalling a single lot of Raw Frozen Primal Patties for Dogs Beef Formula. The single lot of the 6-pound bags of dog food had a best-by date of May 22, 2023, the agency said.

Primal Pet Foods distributed 66 cases of the dog food to outlets in Georgia, Maryland, Texas and British Columbia in late April 2022, the FDA said.
