There are some known foods that are toxic/poisonous to cats and should never be fed to them, these foods are: grapes, raisins, chocolate, onions/garlic, bread dough , alcohol, xylitol, caffeine, liver, trimmings, and human medicine. Do note that xylitol can be found in yogurt and sweet foods as a added sweetener. In addition, you should never offer your cat human medications.
Bananas Are Safe For Dogs And High In Fiber
According to PetMD, it’s OK to serve your dog a slice or two of banana as a sweet treat, as the fruit is rich in fiber, potassium, and vitamins B6 and C.
Since bananas are high in sugar, you shouldn’t serve them to your pet too often. The peels can also be difficult for dogs to digest, so it’s best to slice and portion the pieces for them.
Can Dogs Eat Cheese
Since dogs are not able to easily digest milk, its recommended to not feed them cheese. Blue cheese is particularly dangerous as it contains roquefortine C, which causes vomiting and diarrhoea. If the case gets worse, your dog may experience tremors, seizures and a high temperature. Visit the vet immediately if you think your dog has eaten blue cheese. Cheese boards are popular at Christmas time so be careful to keep this out of reach from your dog who may be tempted to give it a try.

Foods To Help The Meds Go Down
Some dogs resist taking pills, especially if theyre big or smell bad. To make one go down easier, hide it in a tasty treat — like peanut butter or a marshmallow. Make pill time game time if they like to play catch. Toss them a few pieces of what you plan to hide their meds in, one after another, with the pill in one of them. They may swallow it without even knowing it was there. Ground beef and chicken are other good hiding places. If none of these works, it’s OK to use a slice of hot dog. Ask your vet for other ideas.
